ISS and Moon (cropped)

ISS and Moon (cropped), originally uploaded by mandydax.

The International Space Station passed within one degree of the zenith this evening, and passed within a few degrees of the Moon. I managed to capture this image of the event with my little point-and-shoot. It's unprocessed, so the Moon is overexposed to get the motion streak of the ISS. Jupiter was off to the other side of the Moon about the same angular distance (out of frame). The picture was taken at about 17:26 local time, so the sky was still twilit.

Yeah, it was after sunset, but before full dark, so it was a really cool effect. Thanks!
