I often hoped to hear of Lydia or Mrs. Bennett's decapitation; the narrator was very good at voicing their shallowness and self-importance. The fight scenes were most well done, and the relationship between Darcy and Elizabeth was very heartening.
I remember reading Northanger Abbey for a college literature class on Gothic novels. We spend most of the term on Frankenstein (which I adored), but I just couldn't understand NA. I ended up actually burning my copy after the course was done. I really hated it. Maybe I should try again.
I'm so happy for Audible.com.
