Cat Quiz
Ev'rybody wants to be a cat
Because a cat's the only cat
Who knows where it's at!

You are a Random cat! Also known as an alley cat
or a mutt. You aren't given to high-falutin'
ways, but you're accessible and popular.
People love you for who you are, not what you

What breed of cat are you?

Daemon Quiz
I'm impressed that they spelled it right. I'm not eagley. I don't even really like birds. Eagles are too cocky. :P

Eagle Daemon
Your EAGLE DAEMON represents an unlikely
combination of fierce pride and remarkable
wisdom. Though widely admired, you can be very
distant at times, and like to stay out of
people's personal lives.

Internet Blarg!
I'm getting pissed about my connection. I've tested the speed and gotten between 1.9 and 3.8 Mbps for downloading. So why is it that at the same time, I can't get any picture files to come up in my browser unless they're cached? It's not a virus, spy-ware, ad-ware, firewall settings, or anything I can find on my end. It's not site-specific. It's not even signal strength for the wireless connection. I should check if Patti's much-better-than-mine computer has the same problems at the same time. The weird thing is that it stops being bad at random, like now.

I'm also miffed at Launchcast. They did this update over the weekend. They changed the look of the song, artist, and album pages. Now, I can't listen to my moods. They work, but they're wrong. I mean Barenaked Ladies shouldn't play on my Goth Rock mood, nor should they be on my Dance & Trance Electronica mood. I've sent messages to them, but no response. Plus, I'm not getting the song info in my player window, pause doesn't work half the time, and I can't listen to high quality audio because their upload is too slow and I overrun the buffer. Example: I've been listening to music for about 15 minutes and the window still shows "Tuning..." I'm gonna see if I can get something free out of this.

My Brain Hurts
Today I had a bad contact in the right eye, so I took it out. I didn't have a spare with me, so I spent the day without it, which is very annoying, and painful. Both eyes try to focus at the same time, and they can't, so I get eye-strain. I can deal with that. The weird thing is, I keep getting these flashes of pain in my head. It feels like it's inside my head behind my left temple. I thought it was just eye-strain working toward a migraine, but the flashes come one to three times and then they're gone. I started to get worryed that maybe I was having a brain attack. I'm terrified of having a hemorragic anuerysm. A blood vessel pops in your head and you die. As ways to die, it's mostly painless, since you're unconscious in short order. Anyway, it can't be that. If it were, I'd have slurred speech, numbness or weakness on my right side, confusion, inability to concentrate, something... I haven't had any symptoms other than the weird pain. I've had in both contacts, both new, for about six hours, and I'm still getting these flashes occassionally. If it continues thru tomorrow, I'll call the doctor. It's a little freaky. Okay, it's a lot freaky. Probably has to do with sleep-dep also, so I should get some sleep. G'night.
