On a more personal note...

Quickly, before I go to bed (and hopefully to sleep):

I'm really missing having evenings off. I didn't think I would, but I am. I'm having a hard time getting up even when I've gotten a proper amount of sleep. I have no real appetite, but I do make myself eat... when I remember. Symptoms of depression, I know. I'm going to see if I can manage to force myself up before eight hours (sleep-dep is a natural SRI), do some DDR/ITG (for the dopamine), and eat a proper breakfast. We'll see how that goes.

On the electronics front, I finally bought an external HDD. It's a 250GB USB connectable, so it's easy to use. I figured out that if anything happens to my laptop, I lose everything pretty much. Of course, my internal HDD is onoly 80GB, so I'm thinking I have a lot of room for making more stuff... :) I also bought a thing that'll let me record from an analog source (like TiVo outputs) and burn to DVD or get nice crisp screencaps for iconing or wallpaper-making. It's not working the best yet, but I have to figure out the settings my computer can handle. I also bought Eddie Izzard's specials Glorious and Definite Article. I did check that they were Zone 1, since they used to be only for release in the UK. So, I should watch those sometime... yeah.

I just watched Glorious, it's fabulous. As for the sleep thing, you might try some Valerian root or Melatonin. They really helped me when I was working nights. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll find something that works. *HUGS*
