Road Trip Update

Well, it's now Thursday. How the time flies. I think it has something to do with the thinner air... less resistance and all.

Tuesday night we went up to Louisville and had cheap wings with ladypentacles and jwock and LP's brother, tree_hugger1123 (who looks like Anthony Michael Hall from the nose up and Ben Affleck from the nose down [BA in Chasing Amy, with the beard, not the butt-chin]). Had a wonderful time catching up. We're going to do mini-golf and Old Chicago tonight. Mini-golf at "the place with the Aztec god that breathes fire. Once again, as with jaka_talbot and klaus_weg, I was the only one with brown eyes. Teehee, Mandy's full of shit! :D *hrmm*

Yesterday, I went to lunch with histrygrrl and her coworkers the_ericai and nouveaustar at this pizza place which's name escapes me now. Much time was spent trying to explain Battlestar Galactica to HG, and the three historians talking about work. I was highly amused to see that bureaucracy is rampant wherever one goes. I was among the fair again.

Last night, we went up to where entrenous and guyledude have moved into their new place. I met their cat, BoltBadger, who is such a sweetie! We went out to a Mexican restaurant run by Scandinavians(?) and called Moosehill. I decided to go with the theme of contradiction and have a burger. Anywho, for the first time, the brown eyes outnumbered the blue. >:) We spent much time talking about Battlestar Galactica. There was much Vampire discussion, and just general get to know ya stuff.

On the way back, HG tried to explain all about the gigantic Vampire campain that the three of them have been playing for the last few years. It's very complex. She wants to make a website about it all. Hyper-links would be very helpful. :)

It sounds like you are having a great trip! I like your dinner choice at Moosehill:)
Have you had a chance to do some hiking up in the mountains? That is probably one of my favorite things to do in Colorado! Beautiful places with trails that are easy to get lost on.

Have fun mini-golfing!

Thank you. I don't know that we'll do any real hiking, but I've seen some spectacular views with the mountains and the sky is so close, even the stars look closer. I think minigolf is right out, but we may go to the plane-arium and watch laser Kenny Loggins, or maybe like a galaxy tour.
